About the Maasai Village & Culture
The Maasai are a colorful tribe found in Tanzania whose nomadic traditional life- style has lasted for centuries. Their traditional industry is cattle rearing and their herdsmen are extremely skilled.
The Tour
Stay overnight in the Maasai village and join in their day-to-day activities with the Chilunga Cultural Tourism Programme. If you visit on market day you can also enjoy a traditional barbecue (mshikaki).
Transport: Driving.
Duration: 4 hours return trip, excluding stopping and any activities. Overnight camping can be arranged.
